Springy Time in the Keweenaw

There are many places in the world,

but none quite like the Keweenaw!

After the snow and ice has whirled,

then finally comes the springy thaw.

Too little snow to ski,

and too much to mountain bike!

But there’s plenty of things to see,

and lots of stuff I like!

Starry skies and Northern Lights,

mossy rocks and sunset sights!

The deer, too, are ready for summer,

if the sun never came, that’d be a bummer!
