Copper Harbor, Michigan Mountain Bike Shuttle

The KAC Mountain Bike Shuttle Experience Copper Harbor

Unlimited Shuttle Rides 7 Days a Week- $50

Ready For Mountain Bike Downhill Runs? When visiting Copper Harbor our unique Michigan mountain bike shuttle is the best way to get you and your bike to the top of the trail system without having to pedal your way up.  Shuttles run continuously between the shop and the top of Brockway Mountain or the Lodge ensuring you will never need to wait more than 15 minutes for your next ride up!  Our shuttles allow you to access trails for all skill levels.

Mountain bikers enjoy bombing down Copper Harbor’s sustained vertical descents along the miles of sweet singletrack that connect the Keweenaw Mountain LodgeBrockway Mountain and the village, nearly 600′ vertical and up to 3 miles below.

While most of the trails are cross-country trails and involve some pedaling, Copper Harbor’s gravity trails such as Flying Squirrel and Danimal will push riders (and their suspensions) to their technical limits.

If you’d like more direction navigating these trails, considering booking a guided tour.

DISCLAIMER:  From the shuttle drop-off points at the top there is access to a variety of trails at differing skill levels. Please familiarize yourself with trail difficulty symbols on trail maps and posted signs and ride within your ability. Please talk with KAC staff to answer any questions you may have!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Many trails are purpose built as two-way trails and you are welcome to climb or descend as you please.
  • We encourage you to reserve online ahead of time — we can accommodate walk-ins space-permitting.
  • You must sign a waiver to ride the shuttle (minors must have a legal guardian sign a waiver for them) – when reserving online, please sign DIGITAL WAIVER that is included in Confirmation Email prior to arrival
  • CANCELLATION POLICY: Payments are refundable, minus a 15% cancellation fee, with notice any time prior to TWO WEEKS of scheduled shuttle — otherwise non-refundable unless Trip Protection has been purchased.
  • WEATHER POLICY: THERE ARE NO RAIN-CHECKS. The shuttle runs rain or shine — trails DO NOT CLOSE due to rain. In the event of heavy downpours or thunderstorms, shuttle runs will be postponed until conditions subside.
We recently spent four days in Copper Harbor and used the shuttle service provided by KAC. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the trails. They provided great tips for us since it was our first trip to the area. KAC is great for those unexpected breakdowns too...their service guys had us up and riding in no time and out a good price.
